- Bio
- David DeRosa is an internationally recognized visual artist currently living and working within the U.S. and as such spends most of his time painting and hanging out in his pajamas with his wife, Gwen. In between paintings or -- more likely -- when he is up with insomnia, the artist stares blearily into his monitor and writes. This happens inexplicably and without method, randomly.
This is one of three blogs that David unfortunately neglects.

Hello Chicago OSers!!
As you may or may not know, the Red Star has been quite busy since
the begining of the new year painting, plotting and frequently

Missing Boy Linked To Squirrel Insurrection
Excerpt taken from Red Star's field journal:
December 8th, Day 100. 27 degrees Fahrenheit.
Personal commentary:
Midwestern squirrels,
who – I've decided – are all named Buddy and Loretta,
are a completely different breed than their coastal, chain
smoking city equivilants… Read full post »

amount of balls…”
I heartily agree.

Red Star's EXCLUSIVE, One-On-One Interiew With Jesus Christ
Like many descendants of the Italian-American immigration boom of the early twentieth century, I was raised exceptionally catholic. And as an exceptionally good catholic, I dutifully checked holy sacraments off my metaphysical to-do list, attended C.C.D. (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine), worked/… Read full post »
Why Do Republicans Hate America?
They must. Why else wouldn’t they want the average American citizen not making a six figure income to have quality healthcare? Where are those Family Values they’re always blathering on about when my ninety year old grandmother has to bag groceries full time just to have basic healt/… Read full post »
Have You Hugged An Artist Today?
In the public eye of the United States, we artists are often times marginalized. Our best efforts – bastardized and formulized by big business, gets put into neat little boxes and promptly mass produced to aid in the national pursuit of more, ultimately useless “stuff.” Stuff that c… Read full post »
