I love the picture of LL Cool J. It reminds me of all the Liberals here when they see or hear of Sara Palin. I guess it's this fear you won't admit that you have about her doing great things.

A couple things come to mind as I read the comments. First the cartoon assumes that she did the promos for the show. I would like to know how many people on TV do their own promos or even see them before they are aired. I would be willing to bet it very, very few of them. They are done by a promotional staff, not the star involved.

Second is all the terms that you people use to describe her. Just in here is is called "lazy, self-serving, whining, bullet point recording with no solutions for anything". You don't want to take her seriously but how are people going to take you seriously if ad hominem attacks are the best you can come up with?

Unemployment is through the roof. The government is spending money like they can just print it. OOPS, they are just printing it. The national debt is getting so large that some fear it can never be paid back.

While both sides have their loyal base who will vote (R) or (D) just because, the middle who makes up their minds because of who is running is going to make the '94 elections look like a picnic, and bring about another Republican landslide as they retake the House.

So, again, who is it who needs to get outside in the sunshine and mingle around real people and get a "real life"?

I can't go a day without seeing Sarah Palin all over the news. In just about every article, there is something that states that she lies or is pulling the wool over our eyes, or that whe will never be acceptable as a candidate, etc. Yet the midia is helping her make millions.

If this is the case, why doesn't the media ignore her? She ministers to the right wing, the religious zealots, her flock. She has every right to seek publicity. It does not mean she should get publicity for every thing she does.

I think she would take a plac in history as a foot note like
Dan Quale, if the thirsty, story hungry media would just ignore her. And, every time a progressive or liberal reporter states that she will not be elected, he/she probably gives her another thousand votes.

Her popularity, such as it is, is because there are a lot of people who share those characteristics. Some of them post here.

I live in Alaska. I don't understand why the woman is so popular. I have had personal dealings with her on an energy issue and saw the writing on the wall, so to speak long before she became a VP contender. Love the humor!

Recognize that the religious zealot and Tea Party 8 year old mind love Palin and even if she is caught in a thousand lies, takes money that she shouldn't, or says stupid things, her followers are in too deep to admit that she is not a worthy leader. So the strategy is to keep this in mind.

If the media would ignore her instead of her being in every news reporting service every day, then she would be marginalized and nothing more than a preacher with a congregation.

But every reporter and commentary from the obnoxious Fox News to MSNBC and the progressive press gives her free space every day.
