Swagger Part I.
There is perfection in swagger
the sure surety of knowing your enemy
knowing your demons
and standing on the side of the line
in the sand
that is right without question
and to take that swagger
and live it from the tips of your fingers
to the spikes of your hair tips
to the edges of your pretty mouth--
heart shaped in repose
a hand grenade when opened-- to
cut through the silence,
a melodic angelic falsettoed bratty snarl
of a chainsaw
ripping open the lies
leaving the truth falling where it may.
