Tango of Seduction

Rate: 13 Flag

Love to hate, hate to love

I a woman, he a man

Adversaries

Disparate hearts, one rhythm

Step the steps

Hunter or prey

I push—he pulls

Beware the embrace

I flee—he pursues

Exhilarated by the chase

Desire legato

Fear staccato

I fight—he subdues

I follow—he leads

Seduction nearly complete

I submit—he scorns

I, discarded at his feet

I should learn to waltz….

WOW! ISN'T THAT THE TRUTH! LOVE IT!
That Tango is deeply moving. It is the dance of man and woman forever entwined. Woo.
*I should learn to waltz….*

Rated for not just about a man.
Rennis, I could feel the strong rhythm of the tango throughout your vivid and moving poem.

I pictured both the dance of the tango ... and the courtship between man and woman ... yes, entwined they are ...sensual and human ... but discarded at his feet ... domineering and sad.

Thank you for this dance through life and emotion. So very well done.
THAT sums it up beautifully.
