Update, two days later:

Despite posting the message below, I'm still getting "blogwhoring" messages from some OS members.  Just how rude is it to plead for attention from OS members you don't even bother to read?

I stopped posting on OpenSalon a few weeks ago, lurked for awhile and posted a couple of comments, and have finally been away for more than a few days at a time.

The withdrawal symptoms have subsided, but I wanted to let friends and acquaintances know I haven't pulled a DakiniDancer or somethin'.

After a nice break, I'm blogging again at my original, ad-free blog at WordPress.

Since I can't delete my OS account, I'll leave this as my sole post and redirect for those who want to stay in touch via my blog, or email me at os@resistanceisfruitful.com.
