Bio
I am a painter of the New York scene, a professional photo editor of travel guidebooks, and a devourer of books, articles and everything under the sun, both political and historical. My aim in life is to leave a record of what I see around me, blended with my love of the absurd. It keeps me going, I guess. My artwork is on my website. www.strata-art.com.

Yeah, we're sooooo proud of him... NOT

Funny.
Thanks for the comments, everyone. Very much appreciated.

Brenda, you bring to mind something interesting-- it is easy for me as a New Yorker to make the assumption that the good Senator speaks for everyone in your state. After all, he is the elected representative.

But then I remind myself that my own elected official and representatives-- Mayor Guiliani of years past leaps to mind-- who have made me cringe and want to close the lights and slam the doors whenever he opened his mouth. Which goes to show the only way to really deal-- is just vote them out of office. They themselves hardly ever change..

Cheers.
Richard
