I am a painter of the New York scene, a professional photo editor of travel guidebooks, and a devourer of books, articles and everything under the sun, both political and historical. My aim in life is to leave a record of what I see around me, blended with my love of the absurd. It keeps me going, I guess. My artwork is on my website. www.strata-art.com.

Oh snap! Zing! Pow! Laughing out loud.
Actually, you're too kind to the scumbag.
Have no fear. He is turning more miniscule by the day and soon he will be atomic-sized.

I'd say that's true poetic justice.
Lieberman is toast. He has no loyalty to the democratic party. Let the Repubs have him and good riddance.
I'll be happy when his voice dwindles down to silent dog whistle frequency.

If I were ever to tar and feather anyone, Joe Liebermann woudl be right at the top of the list.
But great cartoon! rated.
Between their failure to publicly censure Joe Lieberman for speaking at the Republican convention lst year to allowing the so-called "blue dog" faction of their party to shove an anti-abortion amendment into the House version of the health care bill, the Democratic Party can kiss me where it stinks!
don't forget that it was that super-jerk Al Gore who plucked the Liar-Man out of obscurity to run as VP.
and now we are stuck with him (as are the good people of Connecticut!).
that makes 2 miserable mistakes made by Gore- 1) picking the Lieb and (2) losing the election to Dumbya Bush. remember those debates? Gore showed himself to be a dupe in paralysis.
(then just for fun, imagine Bill Clinton debating that ignorant Shrub of a Bush- any reasonable Dem would have swept the floor with the hypocritical stumbler.
woe is america.
Interesting points, all. This senator is so upsetting to me, on so many levels. Had to make some kind of image to reflect my thoughts.

I do hope the democrats can somehow work around the obstructionists and get a bill in place and passed. One can always improve legislation over time, but there has to be something in place to begin with..
I've got to say, I was never a fan of Joe, no matter what the subject. I remember the first time I became aware of him, sometime in the mid-'90s. I just had to listen to his Droopy voice -- or was it Deputy Dawg -- and I was wondering, "Why do Democrats have such a collection of losers?" Really, the man needed a voice coach. Well, hold that now. He needs far more than a voice coach. Maybe a soul coach.
