Great post Rich!! I love March because it contains so much of the hope of Spring........along w a frost or two!
Rich this was so beautiful, just like you. Guess you have to splurge on a faster lens to get the butterfly wings to stop, huh?
As always, I love your photos -- and your sense of irony.
A very pleasing photo essay.
Wow what a great month you had! And great photo-story for it. I do miss the blue bonnets.
very nice photos :) and humor
I'm shivering as I'm writing this. Suddenly and literally, there is a snow storm occurring right outside my window. I'm longing for color. Your last picture was my absolute favorite...the brilliant bold passionate colors of flowers. Thank you for sharing these.
Blue, those Mynah Birds are ubiquitous, yet almost impossible to photograph.

Gary, you should try central Texas, we get so little frost, it's like we don't get any. If you can tolerate seven months of heat to get five months of cool.

Style, hey, send me the link on that lens, because I've got cash sitting on the sidelines I need to invest. And I'm investing in myself some this year.

Screamin Darlene, it's always great to get your view. I thought of you, when I was watching that rocker girl. I'm shamed to admit I don't even know the name of her band, and I can't figure it out from looking back on the line-up, so I can't name her.

Hey, Julie, what about that bread? Am I wrong to think 8-week-old bread ought to be moldy as hell?

Stacey, thanks, man. You would enjoy Raul Malo, I think.

Bluebonnets were puny this year, NancyLark, but I caught a band called the Blue Bonnets that were quite sweet. I'll post pics soon to back up this claim.

h-Julie, I'm just happy you were here today to humor me!

Mary T Kelly, you and I inhabit 2 entirely different climes. Wow! Snow! That's my flower garden, this week. I am so happy to be in the midst of spring. And soon you will be, too.
:)
This is good. On March 21, you didn't even tell us her first name? Or, was that in another post I missed?

Hey, McGarrett, I'm going to have to get back to you on the name.

But what did you think of my lovely pics of Five-O, taken on the islands of Maui and O'ahu, respectively?

Wow! I have been to the land of McGarrett now! I've been to Hilo. Imagine that. I remember in some episode McGarrett saying "Hilo". His voice cut "Hilo" like a knife. I loved McGarrett. I never missed Hawaii Five-O.
Rich, sorry about the puny year. Given that it was everything O looked forward too all my years in texas, I hated the puny years. On the other hand, So. Fla has been magnificent this year!

Did you see the Miami meet post by Dorinda? Any chance you can take a ANOTHER (quick) vacation? We'd love to have you and Laura join us. Just a thought ......
Hey, KellyLark -- I wish I could go to Miami to see all y'all. Work is kicking my ass right this minute, but I'll be thinking of you.

Hey, McGarrett -- I did more research than I had planned, but I finally found the band and the guitarist's first name: that's Andrea, who plays guitar for a heavy metal band named "Howl". You can check them out at the following MySpace url:

http://www.myspace.com/howlheavymetal

I still don't know her last name.
Andrea Black, of the band Howl, from Providence, RI.

You gotta love the Internet.
I have been stuck inside for too long this winter. Thanks for this!
