A picture a day, for the entire month of March, except for days when I didn't take any pictures.

March 1: There be whales here.

March 2: "Mom, watch this!"

March 3: The road from Hana

March 4: Evolution, or Imagine Whorled Trees

March 5: Enlightenment, free with purchase

March 6: Hawaii--The heartwarming story of how corporate America annexed part of Polynesia.

March 18: Nice hat!

March 19: Can you say--"Fuck the Parish!?" I knew that you could.

March 20: Free, outdoors, in Austin, Texas, when the Live Oaks are just waking up.

March 21: And I don't even know her last name.

March 30: Let's see Dr. Amy explain this one away with a scientific study: 8 week-old bread, as fresh as the day it was bought. Organic? I think not.

March 31: Can't you just be still for 1/200 of a second??

Gary, you should try central Texas, we get so little frost, it's like we don't get any. If you can tolerate seven months of heat to get five months of cool.
Style, hey, send me the link on that lens, because I've got cash sitting on the sidelines I need to invest. And I'm investing in myself some this year.
Screamin Darlene, it's always great to get your view. I thought of you, when I was watching that rocker girl. I'm shamed to admit I don't even know the name of her band, and I can't figure it out from looking back on the line-up, so I can't name her.
Hey, Julie, what about that bread? Am I wrong to think 8-week-old bread ought to be moldy as hell?
Stacey, thanks, man. You would enjoy Raul Malo, I think.
Bluebonnets were puny this year, NancyLark, but I caught a band called the Blue Bonnets that were quite sweet. I'll post pics soon to back up this claim.
h-Julie, I'm just happy you were here today to humor me!
Mary T Kelly, you and I inhabit 2 entirely different climes. Wow! Snow! That's my flower garden, this week. I am so happy to be in the midst of spring. And soon you will be, too.

But what did you think of my lovely pics of Five-O, taken on the islands of Maui and O'ahu, respectively?
Wow! I have been to the land of McGarrett now! I've been to Hilo. Imagine that. I remember in some episode McGarrett saying "Hilo". His voice cut "Hilo" like a knife. I loved McGarrett. I never missed Hawaii Five-O.
Did you see the Miami meet post by Dorinda? Any chance you can take a ANOTHER (quick) vacation? We'd love to have you and Laura join us. Just a thought ......
Hey, McGarrett -- I did more research than I had planned, but I finally found the band and the guitarist's first name: that's Andrea, who plays guitar for a heavy metal band named "Howl". You can check them out at the following MySpace url:

I still don't know her last name.
You gotta love the Internet.
