I know that Snow is a recurring theme in my blogging, but not because I have much actual experience with the stuff. It snows about once every decade or so in central Texas, and the populace mostly hides out for the afternoon until it is completely gone. I do, however, listen to more than my share of Christmas music, and recently I heard a clever rendition (by Kevin Koelbl and Heidi Godt) of the immortal holiday song Snow, from the even more immortal movie White Christmas. At just about the same time, our own Troy Kimmell started predicting snow for Friday (Monday would have been preferred, but hey).
Anyway, please enjoy the original, delightful version of Snow. Hopefully, tomorrow's snow won't degenerate into sleet or ice, and I, too, will be enjoying the snow. Wish me luck!

BTW - I looooove the Dylan cd. How about the "Must Be Santa" with the Clinton/Johnson/Nixon lyrics? And, have you watched the video? I want to go to THAT Christmas party! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVs6X9yIM_k
Middle, there's no movie quite like White Christmas! (With the possible exception of Holiday Inn.)
Robin, you and me both!
mypsyche, the getting readi is oftentimes more sturm and drang than the sturm and drang itself.
McGarrett, you and I are just co-pessimists.
Ariana, I'm baiting my breath now.
Julie, I'd love to stay up with you but I recommend a little shuteye
Go to sleep
And dream
Of snow.
I miss the snow but could live without the Christmas music.
Patricia K, what a treat, to hear Snow for the first time!
Linda Cooper, your impression of Texas weather is spot on! And I get where you're coming from, vis-a-vis a possible quietus, nay even X-nay on the X-mas music!
