I just wanted to pop in and let everybody know that Steve is having his LVAD replaced tomorrow because the doctors believe there is a blood clot in there and if it were to pass on through, would kill him quick. Steve told me on the phone tonight that he is the first person, (at Stanford) who has had his LVAD replaced. Usually it is replaced with a heart. Open heart surgery, plain and simple. 4 hours long.

He is kicked off the transplant list for 2 months, until he recovers at which time he will again move to a hotel to wait for a heart. I hate to keep asking because I know how much you people give and have given but Nancy is basiclly homeless while Steve is in the hospital and lives day to day from the charity of others.. so if you can, donations can be made to Nancy's PayPal account:

Steve is doing okay and was sitting up in a chair today. Eyes on early, quick recovery. Fingers crossed.
