Well, I thought the whole kerfuffle over Obama’s speaking to school kids was silly, but it appears that at least this time, those inbred, red-state, Obama-haters were right. 

And frankly, I'm a little pissed!  It's been less than a day and already Obama's speech has thrown my neighborhood into chaos!  And I won't be surprised if historians in the future point to September 8th, 2009 as the point in history when America began its demise.

I first suspected something was wrong when I came home for lunch and found that these neighborhood kids had converted to Islam, vowed allegiance to some imam and were chanting, “Death to America!"

 ... THEN I saw these kids trying to stage a socialist rally!

... it was clear that kids everywhere had been brainwashed!

 ...even the school Bible club!

This kid tried to steal my car!  And when I yelled at him he said that Obama had inspired him to be the best car thief he could be!  And sure enough, I looked it up in the speech and Obama had in fact said, “Every single one of you has something you’re good at...and you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is”.

Likewise, this kid told me Obama had inspired him to be the best tagger he could be! 

This kid told me he was doing a “science experiment”,  just like Obama told him to, – and again, I looked it up and Obama did say, “Maybe you could be an innovator or an inventor...but you might not know it until you do a project for your science class”.

I saw the cops arresting these kids for shoplifting and before they took them away I asked them what they were thinking. They told me they were just "boosting things" like Obama told them to do!  Sure enough,  I checked and Obama said, “You’ll need the creativity and ingenuity you develop in all your classes to build new companies that will create new jobs and boost our economy.”

And the local skateboard park is usually empty during school hours, but it was packed, so I asked these kids why they weren't in school and they told me that Obama told them to get involved in extracurricular activities – and yup, it's right there in the speech, plain as day!

My neighbor's kids wouldn't go to school at all because they said Obama told them they didn't have to if they didn’t feel like it.  And again, it’s right there in the speech, “…I hope you’ll all wash your hands a lot, and stay home from school when you don’t feel well…”

These kids here were crying because Obama crushed their dreams when he said, “You get the sense from TV that … your ticket to success is through rapping or basketball or being a reality TV star, when chances are, you’re not going to be any of those things”

…and before I could even ask this kid what he was doing he flipped me off and yelled, “Get out of my face - Obama said just because I get in trouble it doesn’t mean I’m a troublemaker!”  I didn’t even bother checking for it in the speech because I knew what I would find.

And now, some unholy force has been unleashed that I fear cannot be reigned back in.  The next generation is lost, and perhaps with it America's future.  Oh why oh why didn't we listen to those wingnuts?  How could we be so blind to allow Obama to give what will no doubt come to be known as "The Speech that ate America."?

It is no doubt too late to actually DO anything about it, but I curse you Barack Obama!  And I blame myself for having voted for you!
