I'm exhausted by being photographed

I'm exhausted by being photographed

This is the only picture in recent years that has been okay with me...taken by a 4 year old named Esmerelda.

Now this man here in Texas, he wants to take pictures of me.

I don't know if I'm up to that.

I was one of those child t.v. stars.

I just had to say no. He wouldn't let me control the image.

That's just not okay.

Esmerelda...she let me control the image.

Just now, I tried to allow a photograph with a Mexican blanket around me...but he wouldn't allow it...because I wasn't nude.

No one poses me. I pose me. He has a thing about Picasso's Blue Nude. Just didn't want to be that.

He told me that I didn't have any control while being photographed in jail, so what's the difference?

I just don't think I can get up for less than 10K per day. xox

This series by Chris Locke is more than a little okay with me.

I think you're gorgeous.
I love that pic. And I fully agree with Walk Away. Gorgeous.
Beautiful. I echo Gary's request. ~R~
I, too, love this picture.... but, I say more!!
He wants to take pictures, but do you want to be photographed? That is the question.

I love that picture by the way.
I still love that other avatar of you with the red pillow, you took down. That was another side of you but was also so beautiful, showing your loving, playful spirit. You should be photographed, but only by those who would never exploit your outer and inner beauty.
that picture will be hard to beat.

Very hard.

Very, very hard.

Uh oh... I'm very hard. Sheesh.
You have a classic beauty. If not that Texas fellow, then let someone take the pictures.
It's a beautiful pic of a beautiful woman. More of the same would bring more beauty to the world and what could be wrong with that?
Duane...now do you want to take pictures of me?
Sharing your unique face and attitude -- what flows from you captured by a good photographer -- could help get the Lovelandfill out of your system. It may take the "ick" out of "photogenic." Maybe? You are woman.
This is pretty awful. xox
Do nothing that is not for you. Nothing.
i won't my psyche. xox
I know what you mean. It is exhausting. The papparazzi follow me around all day and all night. No privacy.
As for Picasso's "Blue Nude." In my case, it's Picasso's "Hideous Moron in Blue Jeans with Fly Open."
Just came back to this and saw the amazing photo by Chris Locke.
Simply stunning, Robin!
I look hideous in photos, one eye substantially lower than the other, captured in the stillness. Waking up after a night celebrating a birthday with friends with the worst hangover of my life, I found a picture propped against my bedside lamp, featuring me grinning stupidedly in the jumbo-jet sized sombrero, dingle-balls dangling. Studying the photo, I found no clues as to where I was or who had put me up to it, and was suprised that the stupid grin wasn't accompanied by drool.

At least it looked like I was having a great time.

That's my photo story. Stupid, drunk, and essentially great.
You have an intriguing look with inherent character. Oh, hi by the way. I don't think I've commented on one of your posts before. Nice to meet you. Anyway, from the two shots (both of which I like a great deal) I can understand why a photographer would be drawn to you.
What TV shows did you star in, Robin?
Emma...My Three Sons, Family Affair, Bob Hope Special, Danny Kaye Special, Ed Sullivan, Sid Caesar Show of Shows
Cool pics!!!

Definetly don't do it for under 20k and only with control. No lose control, trust me, lose control and no money is worth it!! ~nodding~ :)
Girl, you are gorgeous. xoxoxo
hehe. I have the same problem with cops wanting to take my photograph all the time, but they won't give me any creative levity. Assholes.
The first picture is like a painting; and the last one is so good. You are beautiful.
Kisses,
Marcela
Remember THIS pic that I took of you?

Oh, and I'm posting a blog here in a few minutes that gives you mention. xo Trig
Signs of the Beauty Way.
Chica, it's your right to say no to anything that is not right for you. It's a human right. I love you, my friend.
I love that picture in your avatar. You look fantastic, with a far away look in you eyes!
R~
Wow!
I think someone else mentioned it, but the first photo does look like a painting--I always thought it was.
And the "Chris Locke"?
Stunning, in every sense of the word.
Teddy, I hope you get what you need from where you need to get it. Within. Love Kate.
I want to just hug you right now . . . Follow your heart Robin, if it doesn't feel right, run. YOU should have complete control over how the photos are done.

Pawed.
I love you Robin, as a person. As a friend too. I can feel the anguish in your words here and in so many other recent posts. I only wish that I was more able to be of service. You may be tired of them but, very few people photograph as well.
yah, that photo is just exquisite, girly. and you stick to your guns, damn it. (damn them, anyway.) sending you love.
It never hurts to try. I put up new ones to have Natalie say they were a lot better than ones I was using. I can't tell the difference. What's stranger is getting more comments on photos from guys, because my take is, their opinion doesn't count on the matter. I was asking women what they thought of the new pics. But the more shots you have, the more you have to chose from. You may wind up replacing your Oscar Wilde reincarnated profile pic.

Hmm - is this the dangerous situation Teddy got you out of? Sounds a bit dubious...
Robin you are unique and beautiful and these photos reveal that. Protect that part of you always. r
that is a great picture. i too, hate being photographed.
