This week I was experimenting with a daily comic where I have some of my Apple Creek characters discussing current events. I put all 7 together here in one post.

I love working in this format, but I don't know if there is much interest in this approach -- it's not a traditonal comic strip and it's not a conventional political cartoon, so I'm not sure if there is an audience for this type of thing.

Right now I can't decide whether to do an editorial style comic every day, a tradional webcomic for adults, or a cartoon aimed at kids. I don't think I'll have time to do all 3 every day.

Here are some new unpublished samples of the other two formats:

I guess for now I'll work on all three formats. Ideally I'd love to fuse them all into one thing.

I enjoy your comics on Open Salon, but this weekend's was too much to appreciate all at once. With political cartoons my knowledge is nil, I can enjoy them for the creativity and drawing. Thank you for what you have been sharing so far. Best wishes in what you decide and pursue.

I like the political cartoons best. It is pithier and more hard hitting. The other too seem bland in comparison. The amount of creativity and work you have produced this week are amazing. I very much admire what you've done here. Good luck with it all! You make politics ALMOST palatable.
