I somehow doubt "I've got a future president here" was Ms. Stanley Ann Dunham's first or even 21st thought at finding herself effectively the single motherof a mixed race baby boy at a time when either being a single mother OR having a mixed-race child was an easily accepted or common thing.

Andy, Trumps birth certificate is official. Having been born in NY a legal certificate of birth was that which was presented by the hospital, such as the one you see of Trumps on the Smoking guns site. That was all we got. As long as there was a raised gold seal, which it appears Trump has, and the back of the certificate states it is an official document of birth that can be used as proof of US citizenship etc.it's all that was needed and was recognized as an official documentation of birth. The only problem I incurred when using my Certificate of birth as proof of citizenship was when traveling to the Caribbean 40 yrs after my Certificate of birth was issued. A certificate of birth such as Trumps, and mine, are not common outside of the state of NY , but are still legal. Due to that particular circumstance while trying to enter Mexico I did request the "smaller" state version so as not to run into the same issue again at a later date when traveling outside of the US. But, according to US law, I do carry a valid birth certificate issued by the hospital in which I was born. ~r

It won't matter, because they're so set on discrediting Obama that they won't let facts get in the way.
