The release of Barack Obama's long form birth certificate should put to rest any notion that the President was born anywhere other than Honolulu, Hawaii. But that's assuming that we're dealing with people that have three digits in their IQ.
However the news isn't all bad for the birther crowd. The document lists Barack Obama's father as "African," proving that Barack Obama is half black.
And isn't that what this birth certificate bullshit has always been about?
The “Keep the White House White” movement will now shift their attention to "Show Us The Grades." The same people that cling to their guns, religion, and their hatred of black men who dare to rise above the position of produce manager at Safeway, will now promote the idea that the President must have been the beneficiary of Affirmative Action programs. Donald Trump said:
"I'd like to know how does he get into Harvard, how does he get into Columbia if he isn't a very good student," Trump said, asking why the president doesn't release his college records from Occidental College. "If he wants to release it that's fine, if he doesn't want to release it that's fine too. But the word is he wasn't a very good student," Trump added.
The word is he wasn’t a very good student? Trump has also repeatedly said that nobody remembered going to school with Barack Obama. So people don't remember going to school with the future President but they do remember that he got shitty grades? Isn't that a bit like saying, "I don't have a dog but if I did have a dog he didn't bite you."
The birthers are right about one thing though: Barack Obama isn’t one of them. He’s the 44th President of the United States and the birthers are a bunch of morons who still can’t get over the fact that the black man in the Oval Office isn’t the butler.

At first, however, even the left was trying to co-opt him and call him "half white" or "not as black".
Whatever happens, they have to suck it up. The Obamas have already been the President, the First Lady and the First children and nothing can undo that.

Unlike mine, however, Punahou has a CENTURIES OLD tradition of sending by far the majority of its graduates to Ivy League Universities- um, like Columbia and Harvard (and Yale, and Princeton, and Dartmouth, and ....), so, there is absolutely NOTHING surprising about this, and it is so easily verifiable as to be silly really, but, Mainlanders, despite nearly all of them (7 million per year) eventually visiting our Island home and USA's most recent state, and site of the ULTIMATE sacrifice for the USA at Pearl Harbor, simply can't get their hands around the fact that we used to be a civilized country before one of the USA's biggest disgraces, an un-CONSTITUTIONAL illegal overthrow, which President Cleveland apologized for and found to be an enormous source of national SHAME.
But, our BLACK HAWAIIAN FEARLESS LEADER is still Black, at least by the Jim Crow 1-drop rule the Tea Party wishes we still lived under, and, he represents up close and personal their biggest gripe- the South getting its ass kicked 150 years ago ... credulity and imbecility truly ride hand in hand.
Mr. Trump, "I honestly don't know why others have not been grateful to me for getting the earth to rotate on its axis -- I have never gotten proper credit for creating Angular Momentum. I hope scientists will now come forward and admit that."

In my case, the Irish consulate also included in their definition of the long form that the certificate had to state the parents names and their places of birth to be an acceptable document.
The President's father was from Africa. They noted this on the birth certificate by use of the term "African."

Personally, I believe the entire birth certificate has been a like the zit, everyone can't stop picking at. The entire situation could have been cleared up during the last election, why allow it to get to this point?

As for the grades...who cares?
Yes, I know that to many this is an issue, but we should just allude to the fact that he is the President of the US, and not the black president of the US.
We are just as guilty as they are of bringing up color - we do it to make a point, a different point, but a point just the same. Our reasons are different but we just can't seem to get past the fact that he is black, or half black, or half African (we never seem to bring up the white half), or half something.
It is as we had a president from New York or Boston and all we talked about was how Yankee he was, how Bostonian he is, or isn't, and we always referred to him as "our Bostonian/New Yorker president" over and over and over again.
Perhaps we are the first ones who should ....build a bridge and get over it. We just can't seem to do it either!
