 I love Philly,ok maybe not love but deep like, just like I can't really say I love New York, I love Seattle.New York and Philly are kind of like old friends that you kind of take for granted, anyway.  I moved back up here to Jersey three years ago from Florida. I was down there for 15 years I left Jersey at 23. As a teen I used to go to the Spectrum for concerts. I've seen Ted Nugent , Aerosmith,Rush and Guns and Roses there. I saw Jethro Tull tripping my face off and the Kinks at the Mann. I've had good friends from Philly. I was just there 2 days ago, It's a great town. I was born in North Jersey so I have an affinity with New york. Most of my familys from that area. I was Raised and lived on three Jersey shores, Seaside Heights, Long Beach Island  and now Asbury Park. I used to go to A.C. allot. I root for the Devils when it come's to Hockey and yes I am a Yankee fan, thats how I grew up, so I'm kind of like Switzerland when it comes to the New York  Philly rivalry neutral, that said

Can one of you kind Philadelphians please call your Mayer  and tell him to hire someone to write a new channel 6 Action News song.

Where I am in Jersey we pick up both New York and Philly news.Every time I here it it gets me depressed . I'm waiting for the the new season of the Dukes of Hazard to come on after it's through, its so freaking old. When was that song written in 74? I mean its still the same song that was being played when I left , that was in 1990, IT WAS OLD THEN. Jesus I no you guys where all proud of Rocky but God Dam lets step it up a little, where in the digital age now guys. I'm wondering if that thing is even gonna play once cable jumps to digital. Its like they hired the same musicians who wrote " CHIPS"  to write that thing ,on a 4 track. Is your budget that bad over there ? The Magnum P.I. song sounds more modern than that thing . I mean since 76 there's been really cool synthesizers that have been created, USE THEM. It makes me want to rent a porn staring Vanessa del Rio and Ron Jeremy then go gargle some pop rocks and listen to Queen's "We are the Champions".It makes me want to jump in a black Trans-Am with a gold eagle on the hood turn on the C.B. and call myself the Bandit. I'm waiting for Disco Duck to pop on the radio after I here that thing. It makes me want to go figure out a Rubix Cube then go play with a Magic 8 ball and then check my mood on a Mood Ring. It makes me want to eat a Reggie Bar and then go play Kiss Pinball . I wanna go Gong sombody on the freakin Gong Show after I here it. It makes me want to  smoke a bowl of skunk weed and then go bug out on a Wizard poster under a black light, you get the point.

and call your Congress man, Senatoror or Priest and demand this song be updated if nothing else at least into a late 80s kind of feel. Maybe a Cure or Smiths kind of sound .I would prefer a Dead Kennedy's or Jane's Addiction kind of thing but thats just me.

Now if I'm barking up a stupid tree, which I've been none to do from time to time and this song is the staple for news around the country then let the country join in as well.
