Thank you, Ron. Sublime! I remember Horowitz' performance in Moscow as though it were yesterday. It was an epic event, televised throughout the world. I remember the faces in the audience, sometimes prayerful, sometimes in tears -- well captured in this video. Horowitz had an affinity for Schumann. The Traumerei is breathtaking. This is my first time to hear Kempff's Moonlight Sonata. Fantastic -- played without a grain of affectation. Pure from beginning to end. I have some Kempff recordings somewhere. You've inspired me to find them. I'm going to send this link to others.
