Just the very idea that someone with a gun can be in such close proximity to POTUS is scary beyond words! Where was the Secret Service and why didn't they remove him from the area? All Kostric was doing was provoking the crazies out there and fueling the fire.
@JP, Apparently, under New Hampshire law this nut case had the right to carry a loaded weapon...The Secret Service maintained strict surveilance on him throughout the proceedings. However, the message is as clear as a bell ....Violence, gun violence, is in the offing somewhere and at some time....And it's the Republican Party Right Wingers that are provoking and stoking these crazies with their continued smear and fear campaign....
Ron, my husband and I listen and watch internet news since mainstream news on TV is pure junk (especially FOX NEWS)....I'm always at a loss for words when it comes to the studity of people. The yelling and bickering at these town hall meetings from the Right Side (Wrong side) is appalling and just down right incomprehensible to me! I think Obama is doing a beautiful job disarming people with his reassurring answers and excellent points he's making.....along with the mythical beliefs he's dispelling. If only people would use their brains occasionally.....
I'll say it again and again. We are only seeing the leading edge of a much worse situation. The seriously emotionally unstable are putting on shows all over the country, shooting up places and people.

It's the more controlled nut cases who are operating behind the scenes who worry me. They're up to something, and we need to stay aware of those little "hints" that someone is going to do a lot worse than pose as a punk with a gun.

I am outraged that New Hampshire police looked the other way while that puke poser barged around with a gun. How many other law enforcement agencies will "look the other way" until someone kills a lot more people (including cops) than they should be able to.

I wish that all the New Hampshire gun nuts would all start running around with their weapons until those idiots get the point and knock it off with the gun stupidity.

New Hampshire: Take your place right below Texas on my list of shitty states.
I am so pissed off that I believe .., never mine. Ron, I've been scanner-lite this week, but this just burns my ass. If a liberal brought a gun to a town hall meeting where Bush was at, which would be impossible, because they never had an "open" town hall meeting, just shill's throwing softballs at a fucking idiot, he would have been tarred and feathered!! I just don't know anymore!

The guy's not a Republican but a libertarian.
@Zum the police in NH had to look the other way because state law permits the "open carry" of weapons. - As does only about 9 states with mine (CT) being 1 of them.

I can only hope that the "middle of the roaders" start to stand up and let it be known that this blatent racism will not be tolerated.
@perdidochas, He says he voted for Ron Paul...That doesn't make him a Libertarian....Regardless of his political affiliation, It's the Republican Party that enboldens and encourages him and nut jobs like him with so-called political rhetoric couched in ignorance and stupidity that is racially charged and racially motivated....
I've been saying this for weeks now, ever since the doctor in wichita and the guard in d.c. - Some Bodies are going to die. Somebodys already have died, but I forsee some kind of multiple bloodletting. Just a few folks with guns, screamers, on the one side, cops and/or national guard on the other side, shots fired...

Melee.

My building has the Quakers, et al. outside every Thursday for their peaceful Peace Vigil. Now I don't want to go out that side on Thursdays. After what happened in Healdsburg that Stellaa told us about? I'm here in San Francisco, the City of Peace and Love...

No mas. Anger rides in packs; moves in herds. I'm scared.
Well, if ya can't be racie in a public square, what good is it! Oh, I read that wrong.
And some folks just don't get any damn health care at all and are taking their health into their own weapons. Free country.
Is Matthews whining again? Geesh!
The news just isn't any fun to watch anymore. Bring back Bush!
We all need some comic relief from all this serious shit! (TIC)
Zumalicious is right. This isn't going to stop until there is much bloodshed. There is nothing subtle about hanging the effigy of a black leader and the right-wing pundits keep egging this on.

The majority of Americans - the ones who voted for Obama - are considered "anti-American". The black president, female secretary of state and Latina supreme court judge are somehow not truly American in their eyes. This pandering to the racial politics of the 1960s has gone rabid. I pray the secret service can keep Obama safe.
Manipulators (Palin, McCoy, O'Reilly, Rush, the usual suspects plus big money behind them) got ahold of the health care debate and used racist fear to turn it into this circus. The guy with the gun is frightening, but the sheer fact that lots of law-abiding citizens have such a distorted view of the health care debate is indication that Obama's people (usually so disciplined) let the message get away from them.
