According to Rabbi, the lives of non-Jews in Israel are safeguarded by divinity, to prevent losses to Jews.
The sole purpose of non-Jews is to serve Jews, according to Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, the head of Shas’s Council of Torah Sages and a senior Sephardi adjudicator.
“Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world – only to serve the People of Israel,” he said in his weekly Saturday night sermon on the laws regarding the actions non-Jews are permitted to perform on Shabbat.
“In Israel, death has no dominion over them... With gentiles, it will be like any person – they need to die, but [God] will give them longevity. Why? Imagine that one’s donkey would die, they’d lose their money.
This is his servant... That’s why he gets a long life, to work well for this Jew,” Yosef said.
“Why are gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat.
That is why gentiles were created,” he added.
Yosef’s Saturday night sermons have seen many controversial statements from the 90-year-old rabbi. In August, Yosef caused a diplomatic uproar when he wished a plague upon the Palestinian people and their leaders, a curse he retracted a few weeks later, when he blessed them along with all of Israel’s other peace-seeking neighbors."

What you read above in this post is only part of the story. You need to have the complete picture before you condemn anyone. If, after that, you still feel condemnations are in order, so be it then in your case.
There are actually three separate levels of Judaism. This does not refer to the different types of congregations, but to the level of knowledge.
There are those who only know the Torah itself. Some know only the Five Books of Moses. Others have read the Torah in its entirety, but we might refer to both of these groups as Torah Jews.
Torah Jews are not only ignorant of these commentaries, they would also be horrified by them, so believing that all Jews walk around thinking these thoughts is really kind of stupid, but that’s just my opinion.
Then there are those who have read the Talmud, which is a written record of the oral commentaries on the Torah, which were passed down from generation to generation orally, until they were finally written down after the Roman Expulsion. Those who are versed in the Talmud might be described as Talmud Jews.
The first thing you should know about the Talmud is that the Talmud consists of opinions, not laws, and Talmudic opinions are often hotly contested.
The Talmud is a series of arguments, some of which took place over the course of centuries, between scholars who did not live in the same epochs. In order to get the full flavor of the conversation, you must read both the statements and the rebuttals.
A frequent tactic used by redactors is to quote only the offensive statement, without referring to the more rational rebuttals.
There remains however an oral commentary on the written commentary of the Talmud, which goes on to this day in religious academies around the world.
Here, you would hear these disturbing opinions discussed, and often denied, by references to Torah passages that contradict the statements made in the Talmud. You would also hear opinions expressing support for the extreme views represented here. We Jews are not a homogenous people.
Then there is the Kabalistic point of view, which is informed by reading various source documents, including the Zohar, the fabled book of splendor, which is now widely available in English translations.
The Kabalist would vehemently disagree with many of the statements presented here, but the problem with reading the Kabala is that it is written in code, just as the Torah is written in code, and that there are levels of meaning below the surface which are often diametrically opposite to the opinions voiced in the literal text.
Without getting into too much greater depth, it should be said that 99% of the Jews in this world know only the Torah, .99% know the Talmud, and .01% know anything about the Kabala.
Just as most cops are lousy shots, most Rabbis are clueless when it comes to the deeper ranges of Kabalistic study, precisely because it does them no good to offer opinions that the majority are not prepared to hear because they conflict with the superficial Judaism they were previously taught.
One example should suffice: Ask a Torah Jew if he believes in reincarnation and he or she will reply of course not. Ask a Talmud Jew the same question, and you will be ushered to the door. As a Kabala Jew that question, and the response would be, “Of course. What else is new?”
But let’s get down to brass tacks.
In Judaism, there are actually two categories of non-Jews.
There are those Gentiles who follow The Seven Laws of Noah (Sheva mitzvoth B’nei Noach) who are regarded as Righteous Gentiles, or “Bn’ei Noach” (Children of Noah).
The Seven Laws of Noah include prohibitions against idolatry, murder, theft, sexual immorality (adultery, incest, sodomy, and bestiality), blasphemy, or eating the flesh or blood of a living animal. (I myself do not get that last one. Hardly seems worth mentioning. It’s really hard to eat animals while they are still alive. They object, strenuously.)
The Seventh Law is the requirement that Noahide Christians live according to a Just system of laws, which means they have to have a written code of conduct, rather than making it up as they go along.
The second category of Gentiles consists of those who do not subscribe to these basic laws of decency.
99.99% of the believing Christians in this world already subscribe to these tenets, which are built into the Ten Commandments. This puts them squarely among the “Righteous Gentiles” who are guaranteed a place in the world to come, Olam Haba, which is often incorrectly translated to mean heaven. (Jews don’t actually believe in heaven, or hell for that matter.)
Therefore, the category of Gentiles to which these ancient rabbis and the elderly one who still has the power of speech (although I wish he would just shut up) refer with these proscriptions are those apostates who you probably wouldn’t welcome into your Christian midst any more quickly than we would want to admit them to our precincts.
These are the Hitlers, Musolinis, Pol Pots and their ilk, the Klansmen, the haters of every description who none of us want around.
Unless you know about this important distinction, you may well be fooled into believing that the statements collected in this post represent the thinking of the Jewish people about the non-Jewish world.
They are not.
The vast majority of the Jews in this world don’t think this way because the vast majority of the Jews in this world are so thoroughly intermarried today that to follow any of these precepts would be highly injurious to their own families.
What you see here are the ramblings of an old man who should have been put out to pasture long ago, misquoting ancient authorities who probably wouldn’t have invited him to dinner either.
Forgive me the occasional flippancy, not to mention my own opinionations on the subject, but I’ve been studying this matter for more than 40 years, so it’s hard for me not to take a stance on these issues, as much as I would have liked to keep my mouth shut.
