I am VERY proud to announce that my Suzy's writing was selected as the winning essay for Our Big Gayborhood's  "5th Annual Blogging for LGBT Families".  

 I am sure that my Suzy would have considered this the absolute best birthday present “EV-AR!”  (today is also her birthday, so it makes it extra special bittersweet for us)

Even though she passed on this January, I believe that she still watches over us.    I also believe that she is right now squealing, jumping up & down and “high five’ing” the rest of the angels over having her words selected.

So thank you Our Big Gayborhood (links are on the left side... hint... hint)

and, as my Suzy would undoubtedly have said, “Big ass uber hugs” to you all.
