I think it's something like if it's another guy, it's a blow to the ego because implicitly, in some sense it's a judgment that the other guy is better than oneself. If it's with a woman then it's less a reflection on one's own worth. Something like "Well how can I compete with THAT?"

Actually, we have a deal. She can do anyone she wants so long as she brings me pictures.

One of my wives was bi. I had no problem with that.

She owns her own body and can decide what she wants to do with it UNLESS she gets pregnant with another man's child, whom I have to raise, or brings home a social disease.

To the best of my knowledge the pregnancy problem is non-existent if she plays with another woman. To me it is little different from her masturbating.

Those strapons are always up for it, that should be a concern for some.

The thought of another man grosses us out, the thought of another woman doesn't. To get a little graphic, men leave more behind.

There's an extent to which some of us probably think the logic is analogous to why you can be stuffed from dinner but still want dessert: Different compartments.

Some of it is probably based on ego. Some think of the other preference in a case like that as "experimenting" while thinking that hetero is their baseline.

If we're being philosophical about it, if our female significant other really is more gay than straight, better we should find out sooner.

The truth is, of course, that infidelity is infidelity. To that extent, "dumbasses" fits.
