And those on the Left who want to control how much we smoke or eat or drink (usually the control is via taxes - just dandy for the poor) are no problem with you? They too want to control "my" body. How about the feminists who want to limit a woman's right to breast implants? They too want to control "my" body. How about those on the Left - a minority I admit - who want to limit how many children a woman has? They too want to control "my" body. How about the people who don't admit they want to limit how many children a woman has but do admire the fact that, say, China does? They have no problem controlling "my" body.

If you want the Right to keep their "rosaries off your ovaries" (which I understand), keep your "cross of health and earth-firstedness) off of "mine".

See how that works?

I assume you have problems with mandatory helmet laws, government-mandated smoking restrictions in privately-owned establishments, taxes on "fat" foods and soda, and so on.

Eh, Barbara Joanne has a point too.

There's bound to be a middle road (almost always is) between the Two and the Indies but it's probably so damaged and overgrown from disuse we'll never find it again. I'd like to see us make a new one.
