I almost lost it......a perfect, marvelous metaphor for energy, beauty, and the expansive mind....rolling continually down to the sea....
I love this song, it's lonely beauty in my quiet, empty city. A friend once said of her arrival 'Hurricane Cartouche has made landfall" but I always thought of her arrival in terms of this commercial - spreading her energy and her color so naturally it was impossible to appreciate the landscape without it.

(sorry 'bout the advert at the end)
I adore this. Who is the singer?
Sandra, I loved this! The music and the colors were so beautiful. How unique! I'm curious why you called this post, "Patricia."
lovely. i'd heard about this but hadn't seen it. know those streets well -- will be there thursday for the weekend. -r-
What you said in your comment, Sandra, was perfect...spreading her energy and color so naturally it was impossible to appreciate the landscape without it. Such a mesmerizing video, the energy of the bouncing with the stillness of the streets and the peace of the song.
patricia k - Because it was more personal than "Cartouche" :-)

the singer is osé Gonzélez - he is a Swede with Argentinian parents. The song is called "Heartbeats"
What a sweet way you think of Patricia. Not sure why you say, "Empty City?" Our city has you in it! Anything but empty!
It's whimsical, warm, poetic and just a little bit wacky -- Patricia to a "T."
What a perfect tribute to the loveliest OSer of all!
I felt like that tiny little cat watching all the color and music roll by. Terrific tribute to a force of nature.
Roger - I felt like the frog, warty and brown but for just a second thinking "I'm pink! bouncy!"
You know when you come back from a big fat Irish birthday party and all the posts on OS are titled "cartouche" or "Patricia" that something's amiss. Sigh.
A simple "thank you" does not begin to encompass how you captured so perfectly with music and images what you normally do with words. I feel honored. xoxo
You should feel honored Cartouche! And it the honor is well deserved.

A lovely farewell Sandra, and thanks for introducing me to this music.
HOW BEAUTIFUL. Alive, free & colorful! Thank you Sandra. thank you Patricia.
She is all of the energy, color and music...you did it Sandra!
Tremendous . . . it's just right.
so very wonderful. so much touched by such energy.
