I just thought we could talk awhile.
Perhaps, it could get us to smile.
Maybe it feels strange coming out of the blue.
But you see, I'd like to get to know you.
I admit that I have this plan in mind.
It's a friend that I'm hoping to find.
There are no strings attached to this.
Hopefully it's something you won't dismiss.
Each person is a unique and special one.
Uncovering the mystery can be so much fun!
The burden of life becomes so less to bear.
Unload a little of yourself and share.
I believe that's how we truly all heal.
We need to tell more people the way we feel.
I'll never judge you for who you are.
Each and every one of us wears a scar.
Don't keep it inside; just share it with me.
In doing so less lonely hearts there shall be.
The future can only look bright.
More people need to unite.
