Last week someone pulled a prank phone call on Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and he said some things that maybe, just maybe, could get him in trouble. If nothing else comes from it, people at least know that he's sharing a bed with the Koch Brothers, two slimeballs from Wichita, Kansas who own businesses in Wisconsin and do not want unions. A reporter called and pretended to be one of these assholes, which one really doesn't matter, they are both bloodsucking scum.

In the call to the governor, who has no time for anyone else, he talked to a supposed Koch Brother who apparently has a Hot Line into the governors office, for twenty minutes. He actually talked of putting paid thugs in with the teachers and others who are demonstrating to make trouble. That's insane and I know there has to be a law somewhere. He also talked of tricking the democrats that are hiding out in another state. He was going to get them in the capital on the pretense of working out the problem and then pull a fast one. He was going to do a hurried vote while they were there and declare that since they were in the building, the bill had been voted on. Fucking weasel.

Wisconsin State Senator Brett Hulsey says the governor is in the pocket of big oil companies. No Shit! Not only that, but republican governors all over the country are in a conspiracy to try and bust the unions. We all know these guys are in the hands of big business. Yet people who are directly affected vote these bloodsuckers into office. The reason I'm writing this post today is because only a few days after the prank call, a bill has been introduced into the state legislature to ban prank calls. 

Violators can get a $1000 find for each call. Yeah, that's three 0's. If that was in effect when I was a kid, I would still be trying to pay off the fines. Who hasn't done the ole' "is you refrigerator running" prank call. This is a stupid law and the two guys sponsoring the bill are two of the dumbest assholes I've ever seen. The sponsors say "While use of spoofing is is said to have some legitimate uses, it can also be used to frighten, harass and potentially defraud". I'm sure he was frightened, frightened that the truth would come out. Then, they have the nerve to say this has nothing to do with the prank call that Walker received. How fucking stupid do they think people are. It's just a coincidence that a few days after Walker was caught selling his soul to the Koch Brothers on a prank call, this is being put before the Wisconsin State Legislature. Fuck!

I've gone back and re-read the history of labor and management in this country. I have Howard Zinn's book about the history of the United States beside me. It is gruesome what happened to people who went on strike in the 1800's. Not only did big business hire goons to beat-up and force workers to work under conditions that you wouldn't put a dog in, but the United States military, on orders by Abraham Lincoln himself, beat and killed men and women who were protesting. It turns my stomach.
