A group called "National Organization for Marriage" is airing an ad that the above video is spoofing. You can see their ad (the original) here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp76ly2_NoI
As someone pointed out to me, their ad almost doesn't need to be spoofed in that it seems to be a parody of itself already.
on youtube if you search "gathering storm" the original doesn't even come up anymore...only the parodies!
