MY REVIEW (May contain spoilers)
Uhhhh so...who did it?
This story about a beautiful woman is played by Ruth Bradely, the woman is a chemeleon.
She changes constanly as the movie proceeds and eventually you see horrific physical changes in her.
Young woman buys house after experiencing the death of her father by two people who broke into their house. In Dublin. She buys a new house in an Americanized bedroom community where no one talks to each other and each home is identical. And they all have alarms. She choses NOT TO HAVE ONE INSTALLED?????!!!!!??
Let me recap. She jusrt went through a horrific affair where her father was killed by intruders.
In enters goodlooking guy who happens to be at the house after the first break-in, inviting himself to stay - you know -just in case.
The next day, another break-in, while she is at the hardware store, and this time the beautiful bike her obsessed elderly friends who treat her like a daughter gave her, gets stolen from the front hall.
She makes friends at the Hardware store that is within walking distance, with the owner. Whose brother happens to install alarms. And the hardware store is the place she is at every time she gets robbed.
She gets an alarm installed, by the twin brother of the hardware store owner.
She still get broken into, but now she has a whineing alarm to contend with.
Her neighbors think she is crazy because the new boyfriend wants her all to himself, so he makes certain they don't visit.
The elderly couple love her and accidentally cause her to loose her dog.
Everyone is suspect.
Throw in a skeptical psychiatrist and creepy Rosemary Baby elderlys and you will go as mad as she does in the end.
Alarm
Prominent Irish writer Gerard Stembridge returns with another cautionary meditation on modern life with this thriller about young journalist Molly (Ruth Bradley), whose tormented past threatens her happiness when she buys the home of her dreams in the suburbs. Although she is recovering from an old trauma, Molly feels secure, especially with her new boyfriend, Mal (Aidan Turner), until a string of burglaries triggers her mental instability.
