The best actor in this? Sammi Hannity. Nick Stahl is good, but the actions of his character were not believable.

For instance...the killer is in the next room.
He is a killer of friends. He is your friend. You have just seen another friend dead on his couch. What do you do?
Oh, you go in the room without any weapon and reason it out. Do you? really? REALLY?????
And then he invites you to pick up an envelope under the gun, that,in all honesty, would be a convenient thing to have.
What do you do
a) pick up the envelope
 b) pick up the gun
 c) pick up both and run.
  We all know the answer, but no, Nick's character picks up the envelope. Then he reads his killer best friend to filth AND LEAVES. WITHOUT THE GUN. Geesh. This is a frustrating movie to watch.

Reeling from a bad breakup from a woman who still haunts his thoughts, Billy (Nick Stahl) returns to his hometown in Virginia for support and starts spending time with his childhood best friend, Stanley (Jonathan Jackson), who he hasn't seen in years. But Stanley has some deep emotional issues, and Billy teams with Stanley's roommate (Christopher M. Clark) to learn the extent of his madness -- and what happened to Stanley's girlfriend.
