Sanity in Scupper's World: What's beautiful in yours?

Some mornings it's all about intensity.  What's beautiful in your world?

I finally found the answer

I've always longed to know.

It came in the question

where did October go?

I am overwhelmed! Your poem and I love that October has gone to spring and a new beginning. The fabulous pics. I totally love the creek. Oh, what a great picture, soothing and lush green. Your dog is a doll and the flowers, the best.

And I absolutely love Gary Moore and "Still Got the Blues!!!!" His awesome voice, the guitar, soul, soul and more soul!

Absolutely perfect post, I enjoyed it all and have listened to the song 3 times. What a morning, my friend! The best to you!!!
I particularly love the creek. In October when the rotting leaves smell all nutty and in the late spring when you can sit with your feet in the cold water while the sun warms your face.
Beautiful pictures.
Water flowing over mossy rocks and a yard full of birds.
thank you
There's a river that abuts my backyard. This time of year its waters quicken its pace emboldened by winter's surrender to spring. Your pictures remind me of my river; your poetry accents its grace.
Thanks for the visit Pam. Sorry about the youtube...my friend, Bryan, is tossing a little geekitude my way and it will be corrected...
Mean,
I'd love to see your river as well. Thx.
Beautiful images that strengthen and accentuate the written word, with their bold meaning lifting our spirits and suggesting the promise of tomorrow and the new season. Well done. (Rated for excellence and the promise)
Uplifting and beautiful. Thanks.
oh, this is gorgeous and wonderful. of course my focus is on the dog sicne i love all things canine. i also adore the poem and the creek and the flowers. i dread the spring and summer because i've gained so much weight and can't fit into even my fat clothes. but this is the healthy and lovely way to feel. love love love and gratitude.
I live in the middle of New York City but my heart is in the hills of Northern Mi. The snows haven't left yet, the crocus are still in the earth, but the scent has changed to those who pay attention.
Sometimes it's when you're where.

I live out west now, and so do not have the earthily rotting leaves to resurface and alert me that spring is coming, but the other night I had a nightmare and came outside to a white sky and the aforementioned leaves and the blackslimey barked trees and was terrified because it meant I was back There, and I left There for Here, or nearly anywhere but There and I could not breathe in contemplation.

But that's not to say it's not beautiful. Just not now.
Beautiful poetry and the photos are ephemeral.
Your pictures make me long for my grandfather's farm. It's been over forty years but the memories are still vivid.
I just went back to this post because I love it.
