One of the first posts I read by Open Salon's John Walker was his amazing February tribute to Persephone13. I loved that he celebrated Persephone as the ripe, lucious woman he chimes her to be. I've also enjoyed hearing Walker's audio posts and more of his music on IMEEM. This is one talented man, a good musician, a poet, a great dad.
John Walker's lyrical poem is pure beauty.
Since I was stuck in one place today for quite awhile, I've doodled to my heart's content. So here's to you John Walker, from one of your loyal readers.
Cheers on a Friday!

Poems by John Walker - set to music in the mind of Scupper.
Bitten by a Spider John Walker
I was bitten by a spider
Right here on my side ‘er’
Challenged by Scupper John Walker
To touch a twinkling northern star
To hold her in my arms
To play a song on my guitar
And sing her sundry charms

And such a great musician he is. I have worn out the CD he sent me of his music.
John Walker can sing and play awfully good, to say the least.
Thanks for this post and all the links, btw.
Thanks. I listened to his IMEEM playlist and enjoyed his music much.
Athena,
Thank you for sharing that.
Thanks for giving me an opportunity to read that again, by the way...much needed.
very nice work, mr. walker. thanks scupper.
Good to see you out and about again! I never thought about the connection you mentioned. Perhaps I'll change the title to our OS John Walker.
