Sweet November

Rate: 20 Flag

 bareback

Our bodies in reverse
 kissing dappled skin
 coffee perking.

Your cat's fast strike
piercing pink toe socks
blood dripping.

Some book on a shelf
contrasting angles
1969 entwining.

Those early memories
sharing bareback
stories holding.

We stand in time
clasping shoulders
falling.

The memories this triggers may not be the same as yours, but I certainly look forward to reliving them... Thank you!
Mmmm, I do remember. Who cares if anyone else does???

oh, this is lovely, sweetheart. but which man is this? love love love!
Interesting poem!
Oh, I am definitely with Theo - which man is this? There appears to be many!
I could never think of November as sweet but I enjoyed your poem regardless.
It was great. Good job!
Duaneart and Theo, sheeeeeeeeeeeeeesh! Poetry 101, do not assume the speaker of the poem is the author. Do not assume that everything you read is autobiographical to the poet.

To all, thank you for your time and feedback.
I failed poetry 101. I failed art, too.

I got an "A" in imitating Kiki.
D- Wasn't it Aristotle who muttered, "Art is imitation"?
Quit being Sir Snarky and let's go to the beach.
Rated with treasure...
