It is snowing. At the first sign of a flake here in my southern community, schools are closed. I am home, and the fire is burning.
On these mornings, I am in a perfect place of bliss.
The coffee is ready. The cats and dogs are leaving paw prints outside as they make the morning trek with me across the way.
Inside, I'm alternating between two favorite stations and public radio:
and 88.3 - Radio for the People.
The farmer is settled deep into the morning reading his favorite site.
The first time he shared it with me he said, it's so much more than the first impression. His eyes narrow to slits. He zones. The snow falls, a gentle fall.
Let it snow. Let fall the ten inches some are predicting. I'll add a log or two and later make a crab bisque for the afternoon.
It's going to be a good day.

Love the nuggets!
And the good lookin' women. Have fun and stay warm - and if you need help, don't be afraid to call (I got a fast snowmobile parked out back).
