You Kept Me Reading in 2009--- Exceptional Posts

Rate: 22 Flag

This post is an attempt to list those writers who for one reason another kept me coming back and reading in Open Salon day after day.

I'm sure I've missed many other exceptional posts, and I wish that I had kept more notes while reading as I may do in 2010, but clearly as Duaneart expressed in

Do You Not Realize the Power You Have?

 Listen…

when I read a post like yours

I appreciate your appreciation of my poem. Thank you so much, I had begun to feel my poems where obtuse. Your other picks were quite different than the obvious, again, a nice surprise. r
Another great compilation!
Most of these have slipped by me, so I'm really grateful for this and the opportunity to read them. Thanks, Scupper.
That is a heck of a list. Great choices!
Thanks for this--there are a lot of these that I missed but I'll be sure to read them now.
This is really cool Scupper. Some of these posts I know well, others I missed entirely. I'm bookmarking this page so I can get back around to check them out. Thanks for doing this!
Great list, scupper. I'm happy to see CarolinaBlue50 included; he'll be much missed.
A wonderful collection. Now I must read the posts I've missed. I'm glad you included Owl's "Of Basketball and a Broken Heart" -- a marvelous, deeply moving piece. Happy Holidays!

this is a glorious list...and this page will remain open on my browser for a while as I work through the ones I haven't already read. Thank you so much, for all the work and love that went into this.
I have missed these and so will take a look. Thanks.
I am honored to be on this fine list. Thank you. And now I have some reading to do!
Well Theodora will be very happy she made somebody's list! :)
Thanks for the inclusion and the suggestion. I plan on acting like tomorrow is Sunday, not working, and reading any on your list I missed. This will of course cost me money but what care I?

This was also a smart idea - a "Best of 2009" list seems like a smart way to end an OS year.
What an outstanding list, scupper . . . I'm hitting links I know I missed, and loving the HELL out of our writers. And to be included . . . well, it's a great honor, considering who else is here . . .
Yes...there are great posts here. I need to reread some of these. Good work.
