Summer Beans

One of my favorite poets, Gwendolyn Brooks, wrote "The Bean Eaters."  In it, she describes two bean eaters, "mostly good."
My bean eaters, the two oldest grands ages four and five, are spending a few days with me, eating beans, and swimming in Roberson Creek.
I'd like to share this moment via my blog.
I hope you also enjoy the summer beans.

Just read the poem and thoroughly enjoyed it. "Mostly good" is a great description, simple but says so much.
