Steven Housman is a longtime freelance music journalist based in Los Angeles. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the music charts for the past four decades. His music column is syndicated in newspapers and magazines internationally. Steven Housman’s interviews and reviews have been published in numerous regional LGBT publications including The Weekly News (Miami, FL), Express News (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Bay Windows (Boston, MA), Windy City Times (Chicago), Dallas Voice, Outlook (Greater Long Island, NY), Spotlight (Columbus, OH), Stonewall News Northwest (Spokane, WA), The BottomLine (Palm Springs, CA), Pulp (Palm Springs, CA), The BottomLine (San Diego, CA), Buzz (San Diego, CA), Xtra West (Vancouver, Canada), Xtra (Ottawa, Canada) and many others. Congratulations to DiegoM for answering last week's question correctly. The answer is indeed Linda Ronstadt and she is also credited for having the very first album in rock history to be shipped double platinum. The album is 1978's Living In The USA.
