I wonder how many of you feel as I do that a lavender rose is romantic. It speaks of romance, the fragrance is romance and to touch the soft supple peddles---yes, it's romance.
I'm not saying that other roses aren't romantic there's just something about lavender---lavender roses and candle light.
The tip for the day is: Whether male or female, buy two lavender roses, and three candles. With a freshly made bed fold down one side and gently pull off the peddles of ONE rose and sprinkle them on the sheet, lay a rose on each pillow, place the candles on the dresser (make sure there is nothing close to them as you don't want to start a fire) and light them. The reflection off the mirror is wonderful. Turn on soft music and fill the tub with warm water gently pour in a handful of lavender bath beads.
The romance begins as you undress each other, step into the tub and sit with your lover. (remember: if you're married your spouse IS suppose to be your lover, never take that for granted) Sip wine and gently sponge the warm water over each other as you rediscover what you might have misplaced or felt you had lost.
Romance is NOT a thing of the past ... it's here to stay if we just open up and let it in. A woman, no matter what she does for a living, still has a soft side, a side that wants the romance, AND there are men (Executives, lawyers, clerks, engineers, truck drivers and street sweepers) that do like the soft side of romance and what it leads up to.
That's it for today. I've had a rough week and July 4th weekend is staring me in the face, in fact it begins tomorrow.
Have a great 4th wherever you are and be safe.
