You

I am remembering you today.

So much more than your stone in Arlington...

I am hearing you laugh today.

Sand and heat, mud and leeches...

I am remembering you today.

Your whisper in the night...

I love you too!

And Thanks.

This is a repost from May 2010. I hope that you have a memory filled Memorial Day. It is a time to reflect along with being a time to herald the beginning of summer. In this heat today, I am keeping in mind all our soldiers in the Middle East, and those who served in Viet Nam and the rest of Southeast Asia. I am also remembering the people who served in Burma and all the Pacific during WWII. I am keeping in mind them all, as I know you will too.
jmac: Thank you, a repeat, but still meaningful.
Good words for today Sheila.
HUGGGGGGGG
Linda: Thank you for reading and commenting.
Sheila, you say it just perfectly. Peace to you.
Coyote: Thank you, war is always personal because death is to those who love.
A fine post, Sheila. R
