A few years ago I was talking to Kelly. She was in the final throes of a romantic relationship. I told her "Your boyfriend has one of the most wickedly interesting profiles I've ever seen".

"Maybe you should draw him," she said.

"I'd rather do a drawing or a painting of you," I said. "I'm really not that interested in doing portraits of guys. It's a primal attraction thing."

"Yeah," she smiled (coquettishly). "I know."

During my adult life I've been surrounded by beautiful women. Three marriages, four daughters. I don't hanging with the guys. Dames are way more intelligent, feral, kaleidoscopic and impetuous. Sometimes it's a killing ground, sometimes a trip to the stars. Sometimes both at once.

I confess. I enjoy drawing females much more than males. I can't help it. I love the gynecomorphous primate, the sultana, the queen bee. From baby girl to matron I'm all about it.

Better to show you than to keep yammering.

Spectacular work. You especially captured quite a look from Sonia. Those eyes would make a governor forget his flight to Argentina.
Monkey fingered. Art subreddit.
Amazing. I love the Patti Smith drawing. I love looking at your work and wondering what it must be like to live your life:)
I agree. Spectacular. My son went to Art School before studying Plant Science.

He says:` anyone can draw if they focus and take the time. I must disagree. I can't read my own writing. Often my typed words make Not a bit of sense.
My friend says this:`
You speak nonsense!
A Hand Written Letter is sometimes returned with large bold lettering:`
Rewrite! Illegible scribble!

Buy You, Skip Williamson.
You have talents.
I once did a young women with a F-1, 35- mm Cannon Camera. She had no clothes on. She wanted to see who she was from different angles. The 'photo work' wound up being a Beautiful Naked Lady Photo Exhibit. Those days are past. Shucks. I refused a invitation to be drawn naked. It'd be like viewers seeing a bland round cheddar cheese puff. a health plump.
The downloads are slow.
You have talent. Thanks.
It's Nice to share with us.
IF IT WEREN'T SO DOGGONE HOT TONIGHT, I'D DON THOSE GREEN SOCKS AND TAKE THEM FOR A SPIN!
Rethinking the cheesy comment I just left, may I say that I'd love to come up and see your sketches sometime.

There is no getting me to say anything serious after 11:00 on a Sunday night. Just spent. Rated for racey art, inspiration and leaving me with a grin on my face before I turn off the lights.
fabulous, as always.
Sonia portraits are amazing but I LOVE GREEN SOCKS! (:
Skip, I know about the women! I just took a month-long road trip in my pink Cadillac with a blond I met naked in a hot springs. I should buy her some green socks. Or a green swim suit like Harriet! Rated
I'm constantly amazed by people that do things well I cannot do.
It is so clear from your work that you do indeed love women and their bodies. I love this glimpse into you. Rated!
Lots of Egon Schiele (sp?) going on in some of them. You are so full of life and talent.
Seems we share simi.ar views. I can't draw for shit, unfortunately.
I had to laugh at Esther's caption...but not laughing at the rest of your formidable talent.

Glad you shared these, thanks!
Esther was the mother of a friend of mine. The daughter told me that her Mom had said this to her because Momma disapproved of her promiscuous antics. I never met Momma. This is how I imagined her.
Wonderful, wonderful stuff. Those women are so lucky to be immortalized by you. And so eclectic! You can do it all.
I love "big white meat" with the contrast of color. "patti smith" is great fun.
DUDE, I actually have a pair of purple ruffle socks like that. LMAO!

Great artwork!
Rated!
I have a theory that goes something like: Most men don't really like women -- they like what women do for them. But I do know some men who truly like women (one being my husband). I think you are another.
Yeah, women are better to look at. Great if you can draw, too. Your command of styles is impressive.
Love the Patti Smith.
I especially like that you capture women in all their full-bodied glory. You are, indeed, a man that clearly loves women in all shapes and sizes. Thanks for that!
....sorry, but I gotta go with esther on this one!
Sonia who?

Sotomayor? ;)

(You could start your own blog now that you have a sponsor.... your fans would follow you methinks)
And Patti Smith... of the old Boyd fame?
Love the Sonias... embarrassed at how long it took me to figure out the title.
