Critical indeed, only hurts when we laugh. I like the shortness, the funniness, the accuracy with which our "healthcare system" is depicted. I can't think of anything I do not like about this post. Thanks.
Insurance companies often get between patients and doctors. I really don't know if America will ever stop this.
Perfect, Skippy!! Cynical funny always makes me smile.

I'll be laughing about these for a while...you've captured the essence perfectly.
It all so sadly true. Black humor indeed, and very cutting Skip. Lets not leave our docs unscathed either, so many of them own their own MRI clinics, PT centers etc... that it is more than tempting for a little over proscribing.

I'm convinced that nothing will truly change until the whole system implodes upon itself, and I'm guessing that will be in the next 20 years, maybe sooner.

It will finally get to a point where so few people have insurance that the system as it exists now will no longer survive.
Thanks for these Skip. My favorite was the kids story time. You are a man of many talents.
I love them all...because you look at life without the rose tinted shades, mostly.
I made my husbands year last night. I told him they have medical marijuana in Colorado for M.S. patients: we plan to move there next year and he has M.S. There's always something to look forward to!
"Cash cow general hospital" - hahahaa! Love that.
I love these, Skip, although the sad state of our healthcare which you showcase is unfortunately too true. At least the guy in the last one looks relaxed!
What can I say? YOU RULE!
I like. Okay, there's no money forthcoming. Still I liked them.
A few cartoons say a million words. Great work.
Yeah.

Yesterday we were arbitrarily cut off from getting any more cat scans on husband's collapsed lung. No reason, just a "no." Now WTF? And they say insurance does not dictate health care.
