Ok, so, money is still tight and the kids are getting tired of Ramen noodles and hot dogs. Solution: Tortillas. They're cheap and can be used to offer a bit of variety to bland foods. Wrap a hot dog and cheese in a tortilla and it will prolong the kids hot dog boredom a bit. Adults can add some sauteed onions and/or peppers.

You are only limited by your imagination.

Some day your going to make me one of those. You will have to use a kosher hot dog but. I''ll post this on my Facebook since you have some fans on there, female too.
Tortillas are a wonderful way to make dinner fun.
We shall see Jack. Kosher dogs are generally out of my price range. I usually have to get the ones made with hog floor sweepings. Still taste good though.

just phyllis, they sure are. I pretty much put all kinds of leftovers in them---and then usually add cheese, salsa and sour cream. Mexican nights are popular too.
Salon needs to start taking new accounts or give me my old one back. I don't want to adulterate this blog with politics----too much.
