Kaco Found a Home!

Kaco

I’m writing with some very good news for Kaco the cat who I had written about on March 13.  Kaco’s caretaker had been diagnosed with an advanced case of a rare cancer and had sadly died a month later.  Kaco was suddenly without his loving caretaker and was living i/… Read full post »

A good guy team was forming on my block back in the day.  It was a time of hope and possibility, before now, before the bad guys started to win the battles.  It helps to remember those days.  Like candles in the darkness, those memories give me hope that the badRead full post »

There was a terrible blizzard in the winter of 1995 in New York City.  Snow reached the tops of stop signs in Forest Hills, Queens, where my best friend Diane lived.  She’d been filling me in on the storm and the saga of some stray cats across the street from her,/… Read full post »
