Bio
The Paxton Pundit began posting in 1998 on an ISP provided web page. Moved to OpenSalon when the ISP turned everyone over to GoogleSites. Yuk. Semi-retirement is how Tal Farlow described being a musician. I was here when the Beta went Meta. These pages reflect a mix of interests. Unpublished elsewhere since June 1, 2008. Apprehension is a constant. Comprehension is a work in progress.

Because it's the only way I have figured out to get my name on the cover page. That and to keep her post "active."

I have got to get in the kitchen and put up some green chili. (wanders off....)
Did Trig have an Open Call? Did Emily have a post? I'm so out of the loop these days. :(
Ha ha. 1,o25 if you include the picture. I didn't rate it so I can't participate in this fine open call.
rated for lots of reasons but mostly for putting bourbon and crack in the tags. ;D
*ignored the open call until just now....*
jane yukon cornelius smithie - no I'm Spartacus. Two down 27 to go.

Ms. Mann - the words were immortalized by the great Steve Blevins on one of my more absurd efforts. (Attributions can get so wordy - especially in the tags.) You are the writer's best friend.

fernsy - tr ig's was quite the writers' challenge. Put it all in the 25 or find what Yalie GW Bush called "the gentleman's workaround."

nanate - there's a loop?

Burritos in the manner of the house of Stacey (memo - enter into gOOgle translate before posting) are on the menu tonight. I'm my own prep cook.
Stacey, I didn't rate Emily's post so I'm out of the running, but I will happily rate your post!
D - the first fractal open call. Why did more people rate than fessrd up to having rated the other?
I love it.
(Fingers wiggling upward.)
Hashtag @whothehell

I happily accept your compliment John.
~nodding~ I did it cause Emily payed me a quarter to!!! Wooo!!

~wanders off to buy a gum ball~
I just can't suck up that much. but go on...
25! of course even counting it's as two, as is proper Youdin(s)! Nope, ain't counting tags words. The ultimate cheat maybe... lol
Emily.. has limited resources, I'm guessing
I want a burrito a la Youdin!
I rated this which is the same as rating Emily's post via osmosis or transference or one of those other smart sounding wordy things.
oh who cares about that nattering old blog 'ho Trig...that glass art is stunning! does the artist have a website?

rated for the glass art... which is just as good a reason as any.
rita - I rated "OS Sucks" too but not to suck up.

tinkert - three down. Good Lord!

tr ig - we've come a long way since 57 identities, yes? As for limited resources, I am nothing if not the pot to make that call.

atehay - we share the same duplex there.
jeez, i should really read more carefully. i've been looking all over the place for trig's open call - nope, not on his blog, nope, not on ... so i came back here and found out it was a comment. sheesh. mystery solved, and it was my own fault, SY.

i'm with lorianne about the art glass. oh, and it cracks me up that you addressed trig's brother as "atehay." over and out.
also - I hear you.

lorianne - http://www.flickr.com/photos/martha_youdin/ It's not a website really. More a holding area for images. Some of the images still need a lot of work. Thanks for your interest.
what post? dang. i'm not sure why i just rated and commented on this post. just feels like there's a party going on and i missed it (again) (sigh)
Wah, I was going to rate for the art glass, but will have to opt for rating for being the first OS fractal open call.
sorry Stacey, you know I forgot, I just rated. I was just kiddin ya.
Good for you, we need positive people here too.
but but but I don't want to go read Emily's post......

nice glass BTW!
PeelingAnOrange - sorry for the oversight. Nice of you to comment.

Candy - that name has permutation potential. Do what?

Mimetalker - it is to laugh. Hasn't ever been a party here since the day I flounced and took it back within a half hour. Nice to hear from you.

Zuma - thanks for the boost. That's great.

Rita - it's a work in progress still fraught with horrid mistakes, but thank you for your support and the kidding around. I too was playin'.

greenheron - welcome. I'm that supportive husband who helps with the woodworking, etc. I've been shooting some of Martha's latest and am encouraged to know folks might like to see more.

Well the countdown clock reads 01 01 05 00 and counting 'til the hooligans take over. Thanks everybody for looking in and your great comments. I'll try to make it around to all your blogs soon. Lord willing and the servers don't seize.
No idea what this blog post is about, but I'm curious about the part I can make sense of, M's glass.

Nice.

How did she slump the glass? Her own heat source or sent out?

Dan
Dan (Hey everybody - Dan is a neighbor and long-time friend who checks in this way periodically.) - that must be what it's like to sit next to a loud table at Friendly's: you sort of hear all the words but haven't a clue the context. In the last two months, I've not had a post reach more commenters and raters than when I coughed up a little OpenSalon drama. I've written a sonnet, a six-part travelog, some essays and photo-essays. But respond to someone implying moronhood for rating a post from the editor they view as "same old same old" excuses for crashes and freezes ... things get all "social networky." It makes the words shameless and blog whoring redundant. Wait, here comes my cheeseburger.

Sorry I missed your birthday. As R. Perry says: "oops."

I plan on posting a little something from the glass studio soon.

Wait, you didn't rate this. No-o-o-o-o-o! Now it's gone super-fractal.
