Stelios kalogerakis was born in 1977. He studied Graphic Design and illustration. He was member of the alternative music collective “Nychtobates”. In 1996, he worked with the art group who illustrated the official booklet of the Greek Olympic team of Atlanta Olympic Games. He participated in many art and design exhibitions in co-operation with many important artists. In his paintings, he borrows elements of the mass culture, comix and street art to make comments about the modern paranoia of urban life. He also have written articles and designed comic strips for some of the most important greek newspapers, and magazines. He is the creator of the comic series “Sifis and company” (Magazine Editions). He co-operates with the architect studies office of the designer Dimitris Naoumis. He has also worked on the promotion of many well-known companies as a logo and advertisment designer. Member of “COCUN urban art” collective he is art directing and managing the "FotoTherapy" contemporary art festival. The last years he works as a freelance designer and illustrator in his office in the island of Crete. Music is one of his favourite subjects. He has designed promotion material for many concerts, events and festivals. NYMPHS is one of his latest projects. 30 pictures and texts create a dark story where the visions of the future meet the contemporary reality.
