I love OS!!!!!
First, let me say "thanks" to all who made the OS Party in Oklahoma City a smashing success! When we planned it a month ago, our expectations were pretty low. Never would we have predicted such a huge turn out!
I saw lots of people from the Southwest and Midwest, and even a few (to my astonishment!) from the West and East Coasts. I think we all sent a powerful message: OS defies geographic limits. Everyone is welcome!
I learned two things at the party: 1) OSers are the nicest and most generous people on earth and 2) people don't look anything like their avatars! But who cares? What matters is the heart, and there are many, many beautiful hearts at OS.
I apologize for not taking enough pictures. Here's just a small sample.

Joe Sackey (aka Mama Lou) kept everything under control.

Mark Ralston (aka shaggylocks) and Jill Nelson (aka Man Talk Now) got the dancing started.

Susan, Britney, and Meredith (aka Gary Justis, Tom Cordle, and Monsieur Chariot) made sure the refreshments didn't go to waste.

Lynne Chao (aka ePriddy) brought a touch of class to the party.
Sarah Laird (aka Bill Beck) did not.

Steve Linwood (aka Sally Swift) and Robert Snyde (aka Nancy Yos) traded kosher recipes.
Susan Ellwood (aka emma peel) was voted "life of the party."
ConnieMack (aka ConnieMack) looked very much like avatar.
Melinda Bonner (aka dcvdickens) experienced moment of "pure joy."

Lam Dang Nguyen (aka Sheldon the Wonderhorse) talked about recent trip to Mekong Delta.
Justin Jameson (aka Rev. Monte Canfield) spent time with God-knows-whom.

Geraldine Lassiter (aka Lea Lane) enjoyed music, refreshments, and some political grandstanding.
Latesha Jackson (aka Verbal Remedy) had fun with the white people, but vowed not to change avatar.
Hillary Clinton (aka Cartouche) was the biggest surprise of the evening!
Barry Edwards and Stan Jones (aka Kerry Lauerman and Joan Walsh) enjoyed a little "down time."
And I (aka Steve Blevins) had a pleasant evening with Mercedes (aka 1 Irritated Mom).

I'm completely exhausted, but I would like to note that Dr. Steve is a great Salsa dancer.
Nice ass on dcvdickens.
(I also PM'd emma the name of a good dentist)
You are evil, Steve. But I mean it as a compliment, and I love you anyway. :-)
That was great!
You are hilarious! Good job covering a great party! Everyone sure looks happy!!!
Rated & Cheers!
Hilarious. I told you people not to let me handle the camera. "Give the camera to Blevins!" i kept saying. I think that's what i was saying.
