America's Top Pompous Ass?

Rate: 8 Flag

You Decide.

trump and gingrich

Yesterday’s meeting between Donald Trump and Newt Gingrich provides the public with the opportunity to address this critical question.

Donald Trump, a man who inherited all of his wealth, lost it four times through bankruptcy, who has never held public office and has less international and domestic political experience than Martha Stewart met with Newt Gingrich, a man who left public office in disgrace and has never “led” anything larger than a local home owners association.

Newt left the meeting with the following comment:

"Donald Trump is a great showman. He's also a great businessman," Gingrich said, noting Americans elected Jimmy Carter ("a peanut farmer") and Ronald Reagan ("an actor who made two movies with a chimpanzee").

Trump tweeted this about Gingrich:

“Met @newtgingrich at Trump Tower today. He's a big thinker.”

Are these people for real?

Gingrich is obviously working his way up towards a friendship with a chimpanzee which may give him presidential access. He obviously has a ways to go.
This one is too close to call Steven.
The sad, sad thing is they are for real though seem they have lost absolute touch with reality. Adding to the scary narrative, Amr. political life has long been turning into one big sad reality TV show.
If only Intervention could help!
More real that many care to know. It's all just scary. Plain scary.
if you allow such people to rule you, how would you characterize the american electorate?

a nation half of whom think 'genesis' is more reliable than 'origin of species' should probably be grateful for the quality of their presidential candidates.
Thanks for helping me decide here....The choice was easy...
Why would anybody - ever - take someone like Trump seriously? I've never been able to figure out. Maybe he's a poor man's idea of what a rich man looks like...?
Paul Krugman of the New York Times said of Gingrich something to the effect of, "Gingrich is what stupid people think smart people are like."

But to put this in its proper perspective: One of the two may very well be the next leader of the free world!
When dogs sniff each others ass maybe it's kind of cute but when..., well never mind.
I'm not sure if it's bad to have these two clowns leading the Rep. circus. I doubt either would be able to run head to head with Obama, but then there are a lot of registered crazies out there with the right to vote.
