Bio
In my avatar pic I am holding someone's pet skunk somewhere in Oklahoma when I was four. I guess I have always been an accepting type of girl. • It is all about trying. Sometimes laughter is the only medicine. I am often, as I like to say, creatively confused. Although I am what some would describe as accomplished, I want to be a better being. I love as I try. • My work posted here is of course copyright Natalie K. Munden. • Oh, and did you know that some people take drugs in order to experience vertigo ON PURPOSE?

Great White Whale's Open Call: Maraj Has a Dream

Rate: 6 Flag

On waters far from sunwashed shores

On the pirate ship known as Midnight Run

Drinking wine and rum, she called for more

Knowing abundance was in store

Diving for pearls, seeking treasure

The captain and crew, canons loud and long

Expecting an encore to last night’s pleasure

Better than shopping by any measure

Adventure indeed, lass.
Adventure indeed!
I don't know what the open call is about, but this is one great poem from a favorite fictious lady. Maraj knows where it's at !

FusunA : The call...a call from the sea....to write Adventure Poetry!
Any adventure...real or not....in poetic form.
On land...by sea,... in the heart,...in the mind.

The lass Natalie has it well done...and does this old sea dog's heart good!
Great White Whale: Thank you for the opportunity to tell a pirate tale!

Fusan: Even in her dreams, Maraj can be said to be "out to sea." Or is that see? :-) Thanks.
Interesting to see Maraj in search of booty. ;)
Pilgrim: I just document what happens. I have no control... :-)
Bump! The Feed is fed!
How nice. I like the rhythm and the image it conjures in my mind's eye. R
Yo-ho-ho! Love this! :-)
I love this rhyme scheme! Your imagery has me tasting sea brine. Rated
