Messiah Complex

Rate: 1 Flag

Contrary to Fox news myth - We do NOT think he is the Messiah. Just a man who was handed an economy in meltdown, wall street that was run like a casino, a mortgage foreclosure crisis, government agencies that were run by rich kids who looted them, a terrorist threat that - in spite of the testosterone filled rhetoric - was expanding exponentially, Gitmo prisoners who had been tortured to death, a reputation as a global thug, allies that didn't trust us, a decade long decline in the standard of living of most Americans, the disappearing middle class, rising heath care costs that are bankrupting us, two wars that were "off the books" and not included in the exploding national debt, a crumbling infrastructure, the recommendations from the 9/11 commission never implemented or ignored completely increasing the possibility of another attack, a school system that had been starved for money for decades and at the same time given impossible "standards", a gang of morons who worship at the alter of that idiot Glenn Beck and who created a gang of racist thugs who terrorized elected officials under the guise of "free speech", AND a Republican party that totally abandoned their duty to the people in order to "bring down a President"and a bunch of left wing failure junkies who will never approve of anyone and are as tyrannical as the right wing nuts.

All the while - Cheney still has his own army (Blackwater, XE, KBR, Halliburton) who got rich off the dead bodies of our soldiers, moles inside the CIA, State Dept, and death threats against the President, Legislators and their kids from thinly disguised white supremacists.

No he has not turned the water into wine.

Back in the 60's we used to say "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

You Posted this about the time I was running out the door yesterday. It (your post) was on the window-page this morn. I am tempted to stop commenting and aim to figure the world. This was the first blog I read. Then, I read a couple blogs on a fancy high-speed Internet. My gadget is dial-up so slow.
Then, I broke my vow and commented elsewhere.
What you say. I paid attention to the candidate.
I sure would never wish to be a bad president.
I wish Barack Obama to act true and honest.
Tell us the truth. Read Dennis Cox etc.,
The candidate is not who is leading.
I assume corporate greed rules.
I came back to blurt that out.
I best 'hit' the road and hush.
I visit poor Paw Paw people.
Paw Paw is in West Virginia.
I'm not really sure what you're saying. It's hard to write on these tiny little electronic boxes unless of course you have child size hands. I don't know about your particular gadget, Internet connection, or work in Paw Paw ( I lived in WVA a lifetime ago and LOVED it.)
Anyway, I am not sure what your comment was about. I'll say this, I don't assume greed rules. Like our President, I believe in the basic goodness of the American people. I have faith in us. But I am not ignorant of the forces of greed and evil that we are up against. It took decades to make this mess. There is no magic bullet cure. Just hard work, patience and that indomitable American spirit.
