"My foolish mind is cluttered with deep questions
for I seek to understand how this world
emerged from chaos in swirl of desire
and surged into forms of things that exist.
I love wisdom, and consider its glow
of guiding light in psychic soul of man
sacred flame lit by Theos in our minds,
so I shall call myself philosopher,
seeking ways to behave obeying law
of divine voice that speaks inside my head.
I must examine process of my life,
questioning assumptions that blind my eyes,
to understand truth hidden inside words
since clear perception will help me live right,
for unexamined life is not worth living,
while examined life reveals my weak ways
that I may now know to strengthen my will
so my actions never hurt, but ever heal."
