As we all know that microsoft is going to release one of it's operating system called as "Windows 7",and hopefully it will  be released by 22 of october.

This operating has several fetures to make user interface and working of this operating system as compared to other operating system from microsoft.

connecting computer to another computer is one of the important aspect for transfering and sharing of data, among the computer user, for the same purpose windows added "HomeGroup feature" to the windows operating system.

This new feature has removed the headache of sharing files and printer on a home network, onnect two or more PCs running Windows 7, and HomeGroup makes it easy to automatically start sharing your music, pictures, video, and document libraries with others in your home. The new “Share with” menu, meanwhile, provides a speedy way to share individual files.

As far the security or privacy is conserned, this home group is much more secure  as it is password protected and computer user has full control for this network, on this network you can decided what to share and what not. you can also decide which users are to be allowed to share this .

we can join homegroup in any edition of widows 7 , but the these home groups can only be created in home premium, professional or ultimate.

Questions: 1- Why are there still 4 (5? 6?) versions of this confounded and confusing OS? If this is such a nifty feature why not implement it across all versions of OS?

2- Why does MS continue to chip away at the wheel trying to make it rounder? While generally stable, Vista confusingly buries pertinent settings and controls two and three windows deep. Apple's OS-X makes simple filesharing nearly painfree. How many generations of Windows OSs will it take to get this increasingly common task right?
