Consider me very, very cautiously optimistic.
From Art:
U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson ruled, without trial, that the ObamaCare bill passed last year is unconstitutional.
The health care overhaul has been stricken down in one other court, and upheld in two others. The matter will likely head now to the U. S. Supreme Court.
The text of Judge Vinson’s 78 page ruling can be found here.
The “personal mandate” is unconstitutional and not severable; thus, the whole Act must declared void.
I think that about sums it up.
That was the key part of a ruling delivered today by U.S. District Court Judge Roger Vinson today in Pensacola, Florida where 26 state attorneys general had brought a challenge to the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act – ObamaCare.
Obamacare is the antithesis of Freedom.
Thank God for patriots like Judge Vinson. Coupled with a similar ruling in December by Judge Henry Hudson in Virgina it’s likely that the U.S. Surpreme Court will be weighing in sooner rather than later now.
Good.
Give me Liberty, or give me death!
And coincidentally, on what should be remembered as a good day for Liberty, the Bayshore Tea Party Group launched their new website.
It’s a fitting first post from an amazing group:

btw, why did a gathering of teabagger financiers need government thugs to protect them against people expressing their First Amendment rights? And when are the teabaggers going to show up in the streets of NYC to shovel snow and haul off trash, It's one thing to throw a bitch fit on a sunny afternoon in a socialist funded park but its another thing to actual do what you are supposedly in support of. I just can't help but think what major hypocrites the entire teabag "patriots" are.
Obama obviously considers the Constitution less important than enacting his collectivist, redistributionist agenda.
